Milton Roy's HELIFLOAT® floating mixers deliver effective, energy-efficient agitation for basins, lagoons, and large tanks — without the need for costly mounting structures.

Equipped with a high-performance SABRE® propeller and a flow-guiding design, HELIFLOAT keeps solids in suspension and prevents sludge deposits, even at variable water levels. Suspended on four insubmersible, foam-filled floats, the mixer tracks the fluid surface automatically — maintaining optimal impeller immersion as levels rise and fall, with no manual adjustment required.

Lightweight and easy to install, these mixers offer low maintenance, wide coverage, and reliable operation in water treatment and other demanding applications. Simply lower the unit into the basin, secure it with mooring slings, and connect power — no pontoons, no support frames, no civil works. Multiple units can be deployed across larger basins to ensure uniform circulation throughout the entire volume.

With effective agitation reaching depths up to 9 metres, a treatment diameter of approximately 12 metres per unit, and hydraulic flow rates up to 18,000 m³/h, HELIFLOAT delivers powerful mixing performance for basin volumes from 200 to approximately 20,000 m³ — at a fraction of the installation cost and commissioning time of conventional fixed-mount alternatives.

The Key to Efficient Fluid Mixing

Choosing the right agitator isn’t always straightforward. Factors such as tank size, fluid properties, mixing objectives, and energy consumption all play a role in determining the best solution for your application. That’s why understanding the different types of agitators and their specific advantages is essential.
