The design philosophy behind mROY is rooted in incremental engineering refinement and field-proven innovations. Rather than introducing unnecessary complexity, the platform evolves by optimizing each component to improve reliability, maintainability, and performance consistency.

This approach explains why mROY pumps are frequently found operating at design performance levels after more than 20 years in service, highlighting their durability in continuous industrial environments.

The technology incorporates key Milton Roy innovations such as high-performance diaphragm systems, hydraulic bypass drive mechanisms, and diaphragm rupture detection, which together form a highly reliable and safe dosing architecture.

Precision Flow Control Through Hydraulic Stability

At the core of the mROY series is a hydraulically balanced diaphragm system, designed to ensure uniform stress distribution and stable volumetric displacement throughout the pumping cycle.

This hydraulic architecture provides several critical advantages. It isolates the process fluid from mechanical components, enhances dosing accuracy across operating ranges, and enables consistent performance even when process conditions fluctuate.

Flow adjustment is achieved through a micrometer capacity control mechanism, allowing precise tuning of the output without introducing mechanical wear elements such as packing seals. This contributes to both measurement accuracy and reduced maintenance requirements.

Combined with a 10:1 turndown ratio and ±1% accuracy, the system provides a high level of control for applications requiring stable and repeatable chemical dosing

Mechanical Design Focused on Reliability and Serviceability

The mROY pump architecture integrates a worm-and-pinion drive system, generating smooth and continuous motion that minimizes dynamic stress on internal components. This eliminates the wear patterns typically associated with intermittent or lost-motion mechanisms and supports long-term mechanical integrity.

The drive system is enclosed within a dust-tight cast-iron housing, ensuring reliable operation even in harsh industrial environments, including field installations with exposure to contaminants or extreme conditions.

Additional integrated design features, such as an internal hydraulic pressure relief valve, provide automatic protection against overpressure, safeguarding both the pump and the dosing system
