Why Top-Entry Mixing?
Top-entry agitators remain the most widely used mixer architecture in industrial processing — and for good reason. Mounted vertically above the tank, they deliver direct, downward energy transfer into the fluid, creating efficient circulation patterns that reach the full vessel volume. This configuration offers unmatched flexibility in impeller selection, shaft length, and speed range — making it adaptable to virtually any combination of fluid properties, tank geometry, and process objectives.
With a portfolio spanning tank volumes from 50 litres to over 100,000 m³, rated power from 0.12 kW to 500 kW, and operating conditions from ambient blending to 500°C under 300 bar of pressure, Milton Roy's top-entry platform covers the widest application envelope in the industry. Every installation is supported by our proprietary impeller technologies — including the SABRE®, HPM®, and HXP® designs — and validated through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to ensure optimized performance before manufacturing begins.
